茶道について

Sado is Japanese traditional tea ceremony. We make tea for customers in a Japanese room. These rooms are called “Washitsu”and they have straw mats.

We make tea with an established manner and movement. This process is necessary to entertain customers cordially. It is polite, but efficient; there is no wasted movement.

Originally, Sado came from China. It began a long time ago, and the Japanese adopted this beautiful culture.

Sado has a long history, and there are still a lot of things we can learn from it. Sado is so difficult that I can’t learn a lot of movements and meanings in one year.

But I learned that polite behavior makes people happy and comfortable. I would like to treat people as cordially as in the process of Sado in my daily life, too.
